Gorsuch and President Bannon

Judge Neil J. Gorsuch:

When President Bannon announced your nomination to the United States Supreme Court, I was dismayed because of your ultraconservative views as to the Constitution and your extremely pro-business, anti-people decisions during your tenure on the bench.

Recently, President Bannon derided Federal Judge James L. Robert as a “so-called judge” whose “ridiculous” ruling on his unconstitutional attack on Muslims would be overturned.  He also assaulted the three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals as “disgraceful” and “so political”.

In your private comments to Senator Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut, you called the actions of President Bannon “demoralizing” and “disgraceful”.  Bravo!

Perhaps you, and your colleagues on the Federal Bench, will actually grow some titanium balls and render opinions that will protect the citizens of the United States as is your duty under Article III of the United States Constitution.  Now that the republican sycophants in Congress have kissed the ass of President Bannon and are supine in their constitutional duties, it is left to the judiciary to check President Bannon.

May you have the courage to decide cases in favor of “We the people” rather than in favor of President Bannon the NAZI.

I hope this helps.

  1. Indeed, I hope he will have the courage to make decisions based on what the law is rather than what he thinks it should be.
